PLA-lined hot cups are part of Solo''s Eco-Forward offering. They are fully compostable in a commercial compost facility. Fibers are certified under the SFI chain of custody. The cups are also made with plant-based renewable resources. The cup is lined with PLA (poly lacticacid), a plant-based resin that acts as a moisture barrier to prevent leaking, replacing the petroleum-based lining typically found in paper hot cups. Rolled rim gives rigidity to the cup and ensures secure leak-resistant lid fit. One lid (sold separately) fits popular cup sizes for operational efficiency. These hot cups use Solo Optima Dome Hot Cup Reclosable and Leak-resistant Lids (OPT316 and OPT316B) Traveler Dome Hot Cup Lids (TLN316, TLB316 and TLP316), Travelock Dome Hot Cup Reclosable Lids (LK316W and LK316B) and Liftback and Lock Tab Lids (LB3161).
