It can support bandwidth of up to 18Gbps making it ideal for high-resolution gaming or video editing applications. Plug and Play - Active Chipset The HDMI adapter includes a built-in chipset to allow support for ACTIVE conversion. The ACTIVE cable will work with Mini DisplayPort or DisplayPort outputs that are not capable of outputting DP++ such as a video card like AMD Eyefinity it will also work with DP++ outputs.
