If all the ports are used simultaneously each port provides up to 0.9 amps of power. The USB-A ports can deliver up to 1.5 amps of charging power to mobile devices (when connected to power). The ports are backward compatible with previous USB generations so you can continue using older peripherals while getting high-speed performance from new devices.
