The BPX-35U3-SA includes a USB 3.0 cable which transmits at 5 Gbps vs the USB 2.0 at 480 Mbps. This means that you can transfer data at high rate of speed. On top of that since it doesn't need too much power to run the USB 3.0 provides enough power to the drive case to run the 2.5"HDD/SSD.
